I am late--last week was Rob and Lauren's one month anniversary. I have been lazy about writing what's going on with the family. Meg's children are growing so quickly--and Lauren's life has been turned around after meeting Rob at a Young Single Adults dance. She is married now and the wife of a wonderful man.
She was talking on the phone yesterday and she said "This is Lauren Garcia." It wasn't until then that I realized she was really and truly married. I still think of her as Hendry--but then I have written Anton Hendry (instead of Rytting) on a letter I sent. There are some things that will never change within my mind: everyone will be a Hendry and a Wagstaff--no matter their given last names.
I even think of Lix, Rob's sister, as a Hendry.
